As a busser/runner at Red Lobster, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operations and overall guest satisfaction within the restaurant. As a busser/runner, your responsibilities will include welcoming every guest with a smile, setting up your station before shifts, ensuring that tables are stocked with silverware and condiments, and refilling drinks. You will assist in running hot food from the kitchen to the dining area promptly and support servers in providing exceptional guest services. Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards is essential, as is clearing and resetting tables after guests leave, cleaning seats and floors, and communicating table readiness efficiently. Additionally, you will help break down items in the dish area and contribute to an organized work environment.
The physical requirements for this position include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely. Busser/runners must be able to move about the restaurant and remain on their feet for extended periods, typically 8 to 12-hour shifts. Teamwork, attention to detail, and multitasking skills are vital for success in this fast-paced environment.
