As a brand deeply connected to its customers and communities, Red Lobster emphasizes a welcoming atmosphere where new friends quickly become familiar faces. More than just a place to eat, Red Lobster is a place where guests can enjoy memorable meals and moments, reflecting the company’s dedication to quality and hospitality.

The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is a vital position that contributes significantly to the seamless operation of the restaurant and the overall guest experience. This position offers hourly wages ranging from $16.90 to $25.00, with weekly pay and competitive benefits. Eligible team members also receive anniversary pay, discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount when dining as guests.

In this role, Bussers/Runners are responsible for enhancing guest satisfaction by maintaining cleanliness, supporting servers, and managing various tasks that keep the restaurant running efficiently. Key duties include welcoming guests with a friendly attitude, setting up stations before shifts, ensuring tables have the necessary silverware and condiments, refilling drinks, and running hot food to customers quickly and safely. Busser/Runners assist servers as needed, uphold strict food safety and cleanliness standards, clear and reset tables promptly, and maintain a well-organized dish area.

Success in this role requires physical endurance and a team-oriented mindset. Candidates must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds, remain on their feet for 8 to 12-hour shifts, and pay close attention to details while multitasking. These physical demands are essential to maintaining the high standards of Red Lobster’s service and hospitality. The company is committed to inclusivity and disability accommodations to enable all employees to perform their essential functions effectively.

Red Lobster is currently expanding and innovating, with exciting future plans that make this a great time to join the family. The company fosters a welcoming and equal employment opportunity workplace, valuing diversity in race, age, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, and more. Joining Red Lobster as a Busser/Runner means being part of a team devoted to quality, career growth, and community connection.
