The Busser/Runner role at Red Lobster is an essential part of the restaurant's smooth operation and customer service excellence. This position involves greeting guests warmly, assisting servers, maintaining clean and well-stocked dining areas, and delivering food promptly and correctly. A Busser/Runner helps set the stage for a positive dining experience by ensuring tables are properly set up with silverware and condiments, refilling drinks as needed, and pre-clearing tables to prepare for the next guests. Additionally, bussers support servers by running hot dishes to tables, communicating table readiness, and maintaining adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards throughout the shift. This role requires physical stamina as bussers must be able to stand and move efficiently during shifts that often range from 8 to 12 hours and lift up to 30 pounds safely. Job Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is an asset

Job Duties

  • Welcoming every guest into our restaurant with a smile
  • Setting up station for the shift
  • Ensuring silverware and condiments are on the table
  • Refilling drinks and pre-bussing
  • Running hot food to guests when ready in alley
  • Providing guest support for Servers as needed
  • Following all food safety and cleanliness standards
  • Clearing dishes from tables, resetting table, and cleaning seats and floors
  • Communicating table readiness
  • Breaking down items in the dish area
