Founded as a family-owned restaurant, Red Lobster has grown into a beloved establishment with over 500 locations nationwide. The company prides itself on creating a special connection between guests and the coastal seafood experience, turning every meal into a memorable event and treating each customer as part of an extended family. With its commitment to quality food, friendly service, and being an active part of the communities it serves, Red Lobster continues to be a top choice for dining out and employment opportunities.
Red Lobster is currently seeking enthusiastic and dependable Bussers/Runners to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in delivering a smooth dining experience by ensuring that guests feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment they enter. The employment type is hourly with a competitive wage ranging from $16.37 to $25.00 per hour, reflecting the importance the company places on rewarding hard work. In addition to financial compensation, Red Lobster offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than $10 per week, life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits. After one year of service, employees are eligible for a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions.
As a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster, your primary responsibilities include greeting customers with a friendly smile, preparing your station before shifts, ensuring tables are set with utensils and condiments, refilling beverages, and clearing used dishes and glassware promptly. You will also assist servers as needed and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the dining area by following all food safety and sanitation standards. The role demands physical stamina, as it requires standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds safely. In return, you will be part of a supportive team environment with opportunities for training and career advancement. The company fosters a culture where new friends become familiar faces and values inclusivity, welcoming people from diverse backgrounds to join its workforce.
Joining Red Lobster means becoming a part of a family that is not only passionate about seafood but also dedicated to offering great customer service and meaningful career growth. This is an ideal job for individuals who enjoy interacting with others, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and seek to grow their skills within the hospitality industry. Whether you are looking for your first job or a new opportunity in the restaurant field, Red Lobster offers a rewarding experience with excellent benefits and a welcoming atmosphere. If you want to help create memorable dining experiences and grow within a company that values its employees, this is the position for you.
