The company prides itself on creating an inclusive environment where guests feel welcomed and valued, and employees are regarded as part of an extended family. The company's culture emphasizes community involvement, career development, and providing opportunities for growth, making it a preferred employer in the hospitality industry. Red Lobster is dedicated to offering competitive wages, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits, ensuring a supportive workplace for all staff members.
The role of Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is vital in maintaining the flow of service and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. As a Busser/Runner, you will be the first point of contact for guests entering the restaurant, welcoming them warmly and setting the stage for exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include preparing your station for each shift, ensuring that tables are properly set with silverware and condiments, and assisting servers by refilling drinks and pre-bussing tables. Timely and efficient delivery of hot food to guests is also a key part of the role, along with supporting servers as needed throughout the shift.
Attention to detail, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding food safety standards are critical components of this position. You will be responsible for clearing dishes, resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, and communicating table readiness to the team to optimize seating and service flow. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
Red Lobster offers competitive wages ranging from $15.00 to $25.00 per hour, with weekly pay for consistent and reliable income. Benefits include affordable medical, dental, and vision options starting at under $10 per week, life insurance, short-term disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match after one year of service. Additional perks include anniversary pay for eligible employees, discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest, underscoring the company's commitment to employee satisfaction.
Joining Red Lobster means becoming part of a dynamic team where career advancement and professional development are encouraged. Training and growth opportunities are offered to help employees build fulfilling careers within the company. Red Lobster also fosters a diverse and welcoming workplace, committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
