Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned restaurant chain that has been committed to delivering exceptional seafood dining experiences for over fifty years. With more than 500 locations, Red Lobster has grown from a single restaurant into a beloved brand that connects guests to the coast through delicious meals and memorable moments. The company prides itself on being more than just a place to eat and work; it serves as a strong community presence where friends become familiar faces and guests feel valued and welcomed. Red Lobster’s dedication to quality, hospitality, and community involvement makes it a rewarding environment for both customers and employees alike.

Red Lobster is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join their team as Bussers/Runners. This role is crucial in creating a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for guests by supporting the restaurant’s operations behind the scenes and on the floor. Bussers/Runners act as vital links between the kitchen, servers, and guests, ensuring tables are prepared promptly, silverware and condiments are well-stocked, and guests receive their meals efficiently. Red Lobster offers an inclusive and welcoming workplace with opportunities for career growth through comprehensive training and internal advancement.

The Bussers/Runners at Red Lobster will experience flexible scheduling, competitive wages with weekly pay, and benefits designed to support their health and well-being. Employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans starting at affordable rates, along with life insurance, short-term disability, and optional voluntary benefits. The company also offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a matching contribution after one year of service, anniversary pay for eligible employees, discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount when dining as guests. These incentives reflect Red Lobster’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding its employees’ hard work and fostering long-term careers within the organization.

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Successful Bussers/Runners are team players who pay close attention to detail and maintain a positive attitude while assisting servers, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring that all food safety and cleanliness standards are met. Employees in this role must be able to stand and move efficiently throughout the restaurant for shifts lasting between 8 to 12 hours and safely lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.

Red Lobster is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusivity. It maintains a welcoming work environment free from discrimination based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. If you want to be part of a company with BIG plans on the horizon and a team-oriented culture that supports your professional growth while delivering unforgettable seafood experiences, consider a career as a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster.
