Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned seafood restaurant chain deeply rooted in its beginnings as a single family-owned establishment with a vision to connect people through exceptional seafood and coastal dining experiences. Over the past fifty years, Red Lobster has grown into a family of over 500 restaurants that proudly extend the founding passion for quality meals and hospitality to each guest. The company emphasizes not only serving great food but also fostering community connections where new acquaintances can easily become familiar faces, reflecting a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the stage for memorable dining moments. The restaurant has earned its reputation as more than just a place to eat — it is a place to work, grow, and belong within a community-oriented culture that values every team member's contribution.

The role available is for a Busser/Runner on a part-time basis at Red Lobster, a position crucial to delivering the seamless dining experience the brand is known for. This role offers competitive wages with weekly pay and flexible scheduling designed to accommodate individual needs. In addition to financial compensation, Red Lobster provides access to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance options starting at less than ten dollars per week. Team members also benefit from life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with a company match after one year of service. The organization recognizes employee loyalty through anniversary pay for eligible staff and promotes career advancement through ongoing training and development opportunities.

As a Busser/Runner, you will be at the heart of the restaurant’s operational flow, responsible for welcoming guests with a friendly smile and preparing your station for each shift to ensure smooth service. Your duties include setting tables with silverware and condiments, refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables, running hot food from the kitchen to tables promptly, and supporting servers as needed to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness is fundamental, alongside clearing and resetting tables efficiently, cleaning seats and floors, and communicating table readiness to other team members. The physical nature of this job requires the ability to safely bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds, and remain on your feet for shifts that can last between eight and twelve hours. Attention to detail, teamwork, and multitasking abilities are essential to succeed in this dynamic environment.

Red Lobster is excited about its future, encouraging motivated individuals to join the team and be part of its continued growth and success. The company takes pride in fostering an inclusive workplace, committed to equal employment opportunities for all employees and applicants regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status. Joining Red Lobster means gaining access to an inviting, supportive environment with opportunities for personal and professional growth — a true family in the hospitality industry.
