The role of a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is an essential support position designed to enhance the overall dining experience for guests. As a Busser/Runner, you will be the welcoming face that greets every guest with a smile, helping set the tone for their visit. You will be responsible for preparing your station before shifts, ensuring tables are properly set with silverware and condiments, refilling drinks, and assisting servers by pre-bussing tables and running hot food to guests efficiently and courteously. Your efforts will help maintain the restaurant’s high standards for food safety and cleanliness, which are crucial for guest satisfaction and compliance with health regulations.

Additionally, you will help clear dishes, reset tables, and clean seats and floors to maintain a tidy and inviting environment. Communicating table readiness to servers and dish area staff is fundamental to smooth operations during busy service periods. This role requires stamina and physical capability as you will frequently be bending, reaching, and lifting items up to 30 pounds, as well as standing and moving throughout the restaurant for shifts that typically range from 8 to 12 hours.
