The role available is for a Busser/Runner, a vital position within the restaurant team responsible for enhancing the guest experience by ensuring cleanliness and efficiency. This is an hourly, part-time or full-time position offering competitive weekly pay and opportunities for career advancement. As a Busser/Runner, you will greet each guest with a smile and prepare the dining area for service by setting tables and ensuring necessary utensils and condiments are available. You will assist servers by refilling drinks, clearing plates and glassware, and delivering hot food to guests from the kitchen to their tables. Your responsibility extends to maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant by resetting tables promptly, cleaning chairs and floors, and ensuring all health and safety standards are upheld. Communication with the waitstaff about table availability is critical to smooth service flow. This position demands physical stamina, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that involve bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds safely.

Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • ability to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts

Job Duties

  • Greet each customer at the restaurant with a smile
  • prepare the station for the shift
  • ensure silverware and condiments are on the table
  • refill drinks and clear used plates and glassware
  • deliver hot food to customers when ready in the hallway
  • provide assistance to servers with customers as needed
  • follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • clear plates from tables, reset tables, and clean seats and floors

  • separate items in the dish area
