Job Description
Red Lobster is a well-known restaurant chain with a rich heritage that dates back over fifty years to its roots as a family-owned seafood restaurant. The company's mission has always been to provide a unique connection to the coast and seafood for its guests, offering a dining experience filled with both exceptional meals and memorable moments. With more than 500 locations across the country, Red Lobster has grown into a beloved fixture in many communities, known not just as a place to eat but as a welcoming space where new friends become familiar faces. The organization takes pride in being a part of the local community, hosting family meals and creating an atmosphere that feels like home for every customer who walks through its doors.
This role is for a Busser/Runner position at Red Lobster. The position offers a dynamic and engaging environment where employees contribute to the overall dining experience by ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and that customers receive prompt and courteous service. The job is designed to support waitstaff by refilling beverages, clearing dishes, and delivering hot food from the kitchen to patrons. The company values hardworking individuals who pay attention to detail and work well within a team. This is a great opportunity for those looking for flexible schedules and a supportive workplace that offers career development and growth opportunities.
Employees at Red Lobster enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes weekly pay and competitive salaries, flexible scheduling to accommodate various life situations, and medical, dental, and vision insurance options starting at less than $10 per week. In addition, the company offers life insurance, short-term disability, and voluntary benefits, as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer contributions after one year of service. Employees also receive anniversary pay (subject to eligibility), discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Red Lobster actively provides training and development opportunities so staff can advance their careers within the company.
The physical demands of the Busser/Runner role require the ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds, stand for 8 to 12-hour shifts, and perform repetitive tasks such as bending, reaching, and squatting. These duties ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and customers have a pleasant dining experience. Red Lobster is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. The company prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer, fostering an inclusive, welcoming work environment free from discrimination based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
Red Lobster encourages candidates who are enthusiastic about customer service and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment to apply. This is an excellent position for those who enjoy teamwork, attention to detail, and care deeply about providing a satisfying experience to guests while working within a supportive and growth-oriented company.
