This role as a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is an essential part of maintaining the excellent customer service and dining experience the company is known for. As a Busser/Runner, you will be the first friendly face guests see upon entering the restaurant, greeting them with a smile and helping to set the tone for their visit. You will be responsible for preparing the station for your shift, making sure tables are set with the appropriate cutlery and condiments, and ensuring the dining area is clean and welcoming. Your duties will also include refilling drinks, clearing used dishes and glassware, delivering hot food from the kitchen to tables, and assisting servers as necessary. The role requires adherence to strict food safety and cleanliness standards while working as part of a team. Physical endurance is necessary, as the job involves standing for long shifts, bending, reaching, and safely lifting up to 30 pounds. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Greet each guest at the restaurant with a smile
  • prepare the station for the shift
  • ensure cutlery and condiments are arranged on tables
  • refill drinks and clear used dishes and glassware
  • deliver hot food to guests when ready in the hallway
  • assist servers with guests as needed
  • follow all food safety and cleanliness regulations
  • clear plates from tables, reset tables, and clean seats and floors
  • communicate table availability
  • sort items in the dishwashing area
