As a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster, you will be the face that welcomes guests with a smile, setting a positive tone for their dining experience. You will prepare your station for each shift, ensuring that silverware and condiments are correctly placed on tables. Your responsibilities include refilling drinks and pre-bussing tables to keep the dining environment clean and comfortable. You will assist servers by running hot food to guests efficiently, responding promptly to guest needs, and supporting overall service efforts. Adhering to strict food safety and cleanliness standards is a key aspect of this role, helping to maintain the restaurant's reputation for quality and hygiene.

Outside of direct guest interaction, you will be responsible for clearing dishes, resetting tables, and cleaning seats and floors to create an inviting atmosphere for new patrons. Effective communication with team members to indicate table readiness and managing dish area breakdown tasks are important parts of the job. Physical stamina is required as the role involves bending, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 30 pounds safely, and standing for extended periods (8 to 12 hours), making it ideal for energetic and team-oriented individuals.
