Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to obtain TB clearance as required by the State of Hawaii
- Must comply with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Some experience as a busser, food runner or server
- Some experience in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant environment
- Personable and able to get along well with others
- Strong team player
- Availability on weekends (Friday - Sunday)
Job Duties
- Assist in preparing the restaurant for service by setting up sections and ensure the dining room is neat and tidy at all times
- Assist service team by pre-bussing and bussing tables during service and resetting tables and chairs after guests leave
- Deliver food and drink items to guests efficiently and within appropriate time limits
- Keep the service station stocked with glassware, share plates, roll-ups, sauces, to-go supplies, straws, napkins, etc.
- Ensure compliance with MBCR's Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines and local liquor laws
- Support the FOH team with various tasks like folding napkins, bussing tables, maintaining dining and bathroom areas
- Follow all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines
