Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to obtain TB clearance as required by the State of Hawaii
  • Must comply with health, hygiene, and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Some experience as a busser, food runner or server
  • Some experience in a fast-paced high-volume restaurant environment
  • Personable and able to get along well with others
  • Strong team player
  • Availability on weekends (Friday - Sunday)

Job Duties

  • Assist in preparing the restaurant for service by setting up sections and ensure the dining room is neat and tidy at all times
  • Assist service team by pre-bussing and bussing tables during service and resetting tables and chairs after guests leave
  • Deliver food and drink items to guests efficiently and within appropriate time limits
  • Keep the service station stocked with glassware, share plates, roll-ups, sauces, to-go supplies, straws, napkins, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with MBCR's Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines and local liquor laws
  • Support the FOH team with various tasks like folding napkins, bussing tables, maintaining dining and bathroom areas
  • Follow all health, hygiene, and safety guidelines
