Today, Red Lobster has grown into a family of over 500 restaurants that continuously uphold the founding passion to create memorable dining experiences. The company prides itself on being more than just a place to eat and work; it is an integral part of the communities it serves where new friends become familiar faces. At Red Lobster, the focus is on preparing the table for customers' favorite meals and special moments, ensuring top-notch service and quality in a welcoming environment.

The role of Busser/Runner is vital to maintaining the smooth operation of the restaurant and ensuring customer satisfaction by assisting with the essential tasks that keep the dining experience seamless and enjoyable. This is a frontline position that requires interaction with guests through cheerful greetings and attentiveness to their needs. Busser/Runners prepare their stations for service, ensure tables are properly set with utensils and condiments, refill beverages, clear used dishes and glassware, deliver hot food to the guests promptly, and assist servers as needed. They are also responsible for cleaning and resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, communicating table availability, and sorting items in the dishwashing area. Adherence to all food safety and cleanliness regulations is crucial in this role.

Red Lobster offers employees competitive salaries with weekly pay, flexible schedules, and comprehensive benefits starting at under $10 per week, including medical, dental, and vision insurance options. Additional benefits include life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and a 401(k) savings plan with company contributions after one year of service. Employees also enjoy anniversary pay (subject to eligibility), discounted meals during shifts, and a 25% discount when dining as guests. The company values growth and development, providing training and career advancement opportunities to help employees succeed and progress within the company.

The physical requirements of the job include bending, reaching, stooping, and safely lifting up to 30 pounds as well as standing for 8 to 12-hour shifts. Teamwork, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities are essential. Red Lobster is committed to making reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

Red Lobster is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a welcoming workplace for all. They ensure equal employment opportunities regardless of age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or veteran status.
