Ability to meet all scheduling and availability requirements
ability to understand English at a sufficient level to receive and perform basic job assignments and instructions
ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods
self-starting personality with an even disposition
maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times
willingness to help co-workers and be a team player
ability to grasp, lift and carry or move goods weighing up to 100 lbs continuously
adhere to hotel security policies and procedures regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and reporting safety hazards and concerns

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
strong communication skills in English
physical stamina to perform manual tasks
basic knowledge of sanitation and hygiene standards
excellent customer service skills
ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Job Duties

Sanitize tables by removing used plates, glasses, cutlery and napkins after diners are done eating
wipe up spills, food stains and dirt from tables
straighten or replace stained tablecloths
replace cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners
refill paper napkins, salt and pepper shakers and other condiments
refill drinking glasses with water
sweep and keep floors clean
take food out to tables
empty trash cans
accommodate servers by helping at their request
maintain bussing stations
comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
perform any other job-related duties as assigned
