Job Description
Join a leading hospitality establishment dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences and upholding the highest standards of service excellence. Our restaurant environment thrives on teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to quality in every aspect of guest interaction. We pride ourselves on maintaining a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and appreciated from the moment they enter until their departure. As a member of our food service team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining service, contributing to an unforgettable experience for every guest. This full-time role offers an opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry, working alongside skilled chefs and staff who prioritize attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
The role of Food Expeditor is essential in streamlining the workflow between the kitchen and the dining area. You will be responsible for managing the flow of food orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of dishes. This includes inspecting plates for proper garnish and presentation to maintain consistent quality standards. In addition to assisting servers and bartenders by running food and beverages to tables, you will also support the maintenance of cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Stocking service stations with necessary supplies like tableware, utensils, and linens will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will also engage with guests through polite conversation and hospitality standards such as greeting, smiling, and maintaining eye contact when appropriate.
This position requires someone who is flexible and adaptable to a dynamic dining environment and varying clientele. You will assist in bussing and resetting tables, ensuring the dining area upholds the restaurant’s standards at all times. Handling service supplies and managing the bread service station, as well as coordinating the collection and distribution of linens for room service or banquet events, are also key tasks. The role demands a professional, ethical attitude and a consistent attendance record to meet operational needs. If you have a good knowledge of sanitation standards, can communicate effectively in English, and possess the physical ability to handle the demands of this fast-paced environment, this role offers a rewarding path to develop your hospitality skills and contribute significantly to our team.
