The Twin Peaks Bar Back role is an integral part of the bar team, focused on supporting the Twin Peaks Girl behind the bar and ensuring that the entire bar area remains clean, fully stocked, and orderly at all times. This position is vital to sustaining the operational flow and maintaining the unique beverage program for which Twin Peaks is known. Bar Backs at Twin Peaks take immense pride in adhering to a strict uniform and grooming policy which emphasizes professionalism and readiness. This includes wearing the clean Twin Peaks black hat properly, ensuring neat hair and grooming, maintaining the required dress code, and following safety and sanitation policies rigorously.

Bar Backs play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth operation during both busy and slow periods by assisting with stocking, cleaning, keg changes, and equipment maintenance. They help to ensure that all bar stations are organized and that all tools and supplies are available and in proper working order. The job demands a team-oriented attitude, excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments. Training is comprehensive and includes adherence to local and state regulations regarding food and alcohol service, which guarantees that every Bar Back is prepared to handle their responsibilities safely and proficiently.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a bar back
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must attend and complete orientation
  • Must complete the full training program prior to independent work
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
  • Willingness to work in environments with fumes, humidity, and chemicals
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Compliance with grooming and uniform standards
  • Must be clean-shaven or well-maintained beard/mustache
  • No jewelry allowed in ears, face, neck, or wrists
  • Fingernails kept trimmed
  • No headphones or earbuds worn during work

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bar back
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Must understand the policies and procedures to clean and sanitize a restaurant
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables
  • Must attend orientation and agree to company policies and procedures
  • Must complete the training program prior to working unsupervised
  • Must successfully complete required training related to food and/or alcohol service certifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties
