Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a bar back
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must attend and complete orientation
- Must complete the full training program prior to independent work
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to work in environments with fumes, humidity, and chemicals
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Compliance with grooming and uniform standards
- Must be clean-shaven or well-maintained beard/mustache
- No jewelry allowed in ears, face, neck, or wrists
- Fingernails kept trimmed
- No headphones or earbuds worn during work
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bar back
- Ability to communicate in English
- Must understand the policies and procedures to clean and sanitize a restaurant
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables
- Must attend orientation and agree to company policies and procedures
- Must complete the training program prior to working unsupervised
- Must successfully complete required training related to food and/or alcohol service certifications
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Adhering to uniform standards
- Adhering to policies and procedures that maintain a clean and sanitized bar
- Maintaining clean and organized stations and equipment
- Ensuring HOH standards, safety and sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times
- Ability to work as a team
- Train using tablets or computer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Assisting with opening and closing duties including restocking the bar, cleaning, and mopping
- Ensuring the bar is always well stocked
- Changing kegs, checking taps, and appliances to confirm they are working and in good repair
