Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience as a bar back
  • ability to communicate in English
  • ability to comply with food and alcohol safety certifications
  • capability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • strong attention to detail and discipline to maintain uniform and cleanliness standards
  • willingness to complete all required training and orientation
  • adherence to company policies and procedures
  • no visible jewelry or headphones while on duty
  • grooming standards including clean shaven or maintained facial hair
  • hair must be kept clean and under the company hat
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a bar back
  • ability to communicate in English
  • ability to understand policies and procedures used to clean and sanitize a restaurant
  • ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
  • ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
  • completion of required training program and compliance with local and state regulations such as food and alcohol service certifications
  • maintenance of professional appearance including uniform adherence

Job Duties

  • Adhering to uniform standards
  • adhering to policies and procedures that maintain a clean and sanitized bar
  • maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
  • ensure HOH standards, safety and sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times
  • ability to work as a team
  • train using tablets or computer
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • assisting with opening and closing duties including restocking the bar, cleaning, and mopping
  • ensuring the bar is always well stocked
  • changing kegs, checking taps, and appliances to confirm they are working and in good repair
  • any other duty or responsibility that management may deem necessary
