We are currently seeking a full-time Busser to join our Constellation team located at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco, California. This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in food service within a dynamic and supportive environment. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring an exceptional dining experience by assisting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the smooth operation of the dining area. As a Busser, your primary responsibilities will include clearing tables, removing finished plates, drinkware, and utensils, and transporting these items to the kitchen for cleaning. You will also help by bringing food orders to guest tables and supporting servers with drink service. This role requires you to reset tables efficiently for the next guests, restock utensils, napkins, and other necessary items to keep the dining room orderly and well-prepared.

The Busser position requires stamina and a strong work ethic since it involves standing, walking, and bending for extended periods throughout the workday, as well as the ability to lift and maneuver objects weighing between 30 to 50 pounds. Beyond physical abilities, the ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication abilities to coordinate with the serving team and ensure timely service. The compensation for the Busser role is $22 per hour plus tips, supporting competitive pay for entry-level food service staff.
