Known for its majestic landscape, the resort is situated within a beautiful National Forest, close to the iconic Mount Rainier, and is recognized as one of the top Ikon Pass destinations. The company culture is deeply rooted in a passion for the mountains, adventure, and delivering top-tier guest experiences. Employees at Crystal Mountain are more than just workers; they are part of a close-knit community bonded by a love for mountain life, outdoor activities, and year-round celebration of mountain adventures. The resort prides itself on its commitment to a positive workplace environment that encourages empowerment, authenticity, collaboration, and purposeful work.
The role of Busser within the Food & Beverage department at Crystal Mountain offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an exceptional guest dining experience in an inspiring mountain setting. As a Busser, you will assist servers and bartenders by maintaining clean and well-set tables, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a comfortable meal, and supporting the flow and efficiency of dining service. This is a seasonal, hourly position based at the ski resort, with a pay rate of $17.13 per hour plus tips. The position requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the operational hours of the resort’s food and beverage venues.
Bussing staff play a vital behind-the-scenes role in hospitality, allowing servers to focus on guest service by managing table maintenance, clearing used plates and utensils, replenishing water glasses, and resetting tables quickly between guests. Attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and physical stamina are essential to succeed in this fast-paced role. Working as part of the Food & Beverage team at Crystal Mountain also means you will be immersed in a mountain culture that values teamwork and enthusiasm for outdoor living. Employees enjoy a wide range of exclusive perks including free unlimited season passes for themselves and family members, significant discounts on ski lessons, rentals, and resort retail shops, access to employee-only events, housing availability for eligible positions, paid time off, health benefits, and a 401K plan with a generous match.
Joining Crystal Mountain as a Busser is more than just a job; it is a chance to grow your mountain roots, engage with a vibrant community, and develop skills in hospitality within one of the most exciting mountain resorts in the country. Whether you are looking to escape the city, gain hospitality experience, or pursue a career in the ski industry, this role offers a welcoming pathway to be part of something special in the heart of the mountains. The resort champions diversity and inclusion, ensuring equal opportunities for all qualified individuals to thrive in a rewarding outdoor work environment.
