The role of Busser at Silver Diner is a critical entry-level position ideal for those new to the restaurant industry who have a passion for hospitality, teamwork, and excellent customer service. Bussers work both on the front and back of the house, assisting dishwashers and cooks by keeping stations stocked with clean, polished dishes, helping the host staff with clearing and cleaning tables, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness. Job Requirements
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand or walk on hard surfaces for 10 to 12 hours a day
- Physical stamina to tolerate heat, cold, and perform tasks such as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach, bend, lift, carry, squat, and clean
- Willingness to use cleaning and disinfecting products safely
- Preferred but not required prior experience
- High school education or equivalent

Job Duties
- Ensure all dishes used in the dining area are completely clean
- Pre-clean tables and carry empty dishes and glasses to the dishwasher area
- Completely clean and reset tables promptly
- Restock the dining area with clean dishes
- Clean spills and dispose of trash
- Clean furniture, fixtures, and walls in the dining and service areas
- Complete all assigned tasks
- Work as a team with clear and constructive communication
