Job Requirements

  • Must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah food handler's certification within the first two weeks of employment
  • must be at least 16 years of age
  • must be able to stand on feet for extended periods
  • ability to lift 15lbs frequently and 50lbs occasionally
  • must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays, and weekends when needed
  • must be willing to work in any food and beverage outlet at Promontory when required
  • must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • one year of previous bussing experience preferred
  • previous experience working with a POS system preferred
  • good written and verbal communication skills
  • high attention to detail
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • professionalism
  • ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Greet the members in a friendly and professional manner
  • help perform beverage service
  • provide a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables
  • clear tables of all plates, glasses, and flatware in an appropriate and timely manner
  • maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the member's table, as well as that of the entire restaurant area including floors, doors, windows, and countertops both during and after the meal
  • communicate with hosts and servers constantly
  • complete assigned opening and closing side work
  • work independently and collaboratively, be punctual and well groomed
  • follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work practices to management
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • perform other duties as assigned to ensure a positive and above satisfactory dining experience for members
