Spanning more than 11 square miles and backed by an investment exceeding $400 million, this community offers award-winning facilities that cater to every season. Known for its commitment to quality and luxury, Promontory provides a unique lifestyle that seamlessly blends natural beauty with outstanding recreational opportunities. It is a place where life’s greatest moments unfold, creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for residents and visitors alike.
Within this remarkable community lies the Promontory Club, an exclusive venue known for its high standards and dedication to member satisfaction. The club offers a variety of outstanding dining experiences to its members, supported by a professional and attentive staff. The latest addition to the club’s culinary offerings is Sage, a brand-new modern Italian concept restaurant opening in December alongside the new clubhouse and golf course. It promises to deliver exceptional dining paired with an elegant atmosphere that complements the club’s reputation.
The Promontory Club is currently seeking a Food and Beverage Fine Dining Busser for a seasonal position available evenings Thursday through Monday from mid-June through the end of September. This role is vital in maintaining the seamless dining experience that members expect at Promontory. The Fine Dining Busser plays a crucial role in supporting the front-of-house team by ensuring that tables are clean, orderly, and properly reset while assisting in beverage service and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness.
A successful candidate will be friendly, professional, and aligned with the high standards of service that define Promontory’s culinary operations. Responsibilities include greeting members warmly, clearing and sanitizing tables, supporting beverage service, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant area. Employees are expected to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to a polished and welcoming environment.
Educational requirements include a high school diploma or GED preferred along with the ability to obtain a State of Utah food handler’s certification within the first two weeks of employment. Prior bussing experience and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems are preferred, alongside strong communication skills and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Physical demands include being on your feet for extended periods and the ability to lift moderate weights. The role requires flexibility to work various hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, and may involve working across different food and beverage outlets within Promontory.
The starting wage for this position is $15.00 per hour plus tips, with final compensation determined based on experience. Promontory Club offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, uniform and equipment allowances, employee meals, and access to two award-winning golf courses.
Promontory Club is committed to equal employment opportunities, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and ensuring a discrimination-free hiring process. This seasonal opportunity offers a unique chance to be part of a sophisticated and dynamic team within one of the most prestigious communities in the region.
