This particular role is instrumental in maintaining the smooth operation of the Room Service department. The position also demands that individuals are familiar with sorting and handling china, silverware, glassware, and linens according to established procedures, ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are met consistently. Moreover, the role extends to assisting Food Servers by maintaining beverage stations and completing all assigned side work tasks.

Job Duties
- Attend pre-shift meetings
- Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines
- Set-up side areas and ensure that sufficient supplies are on-hand
- Inform Manager of needed supplies
- Repeatedly check and retrieve from assigned areas all Room Service equipment
- Break down dirty trays or tables within established time frames
- Sort dirty china, silverware and glassware into appropriate bus tubs
- Sort linen into appropriate bins
- Polish silverware
- Transport filled bus tubs of dirty china, silverware and glassware to the dish room
- Make coffee, tea, etc.
- Wipe and clean beverage machines and counters on the beverage line
- Assist Food Servers as needed
- Complete assigned side work
- Assist with maintaining a neat, clean and safe working environment
- Turnover/Takeover station according to established procedure
