The Outlet Busperson role at Kimpton Miralina Resort is integral to maintaining the highest levels of service and cleanliness. This position supports the servers by ensuring tables are pristine and properly presented with clean china, glassware, silverware, and linen. The busperson plays a critical role in guest satisfaction by assisting in beverage delivery and refills, pre-bussing tables, and attending promptly to guest requests. Attentiveness, friendliness, and courtesy are paramount in interactions with guests, fellow employees, and management. The position requires multitasking, physical stamina for extended periods of standing and heavy lifting, and a commitment to adhere to company standards and practices. Employees must be proactive in maintaining cleanliness, stocking work areas, and fulfilling other side-work duties per established checklists.

Job Duties

  • assist servers by delivering and refilling beverages
  • pre-buss tables and promptly resolve guest requests
  • keep all tables cleaned and properly set according to standards
  • break down trays of soiled dishes and linen according to established standards
  • complete daily opening and closing duties and cleaning per side-work checklist
  • answer phones courteously and efficiently
  • provide guest service in waiter's absence as needed
