Among the properties under Pyramid Global Hospitality's management is the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa, set against the spectacular backdrop of the San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174 feet. The resort provides guests exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a large reservoir ideal for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy activities such as hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, and ziplining. The resort also features a bar and restaurant, a spa and wellness center, an outdoor pool and lake beach, plus over 23,000 square feet of event and meeting space. The role currently available at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is for a Busser, a pivotal position within the restaurant operation. As a Busser, the successful candidate will support the service team in delivering memorable hospitality to guests by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining areas. Responsibilities include clearing and setting tables, replenishing serving stations, and actively supporting servers to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience. The position demands quick thinking, a positive and engaging attitude, and a dedication to teamwork. Serving as the backbone of the restaurant's operation, the Busser helps ensure every guest encounter is seamless and enjoyable.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
  • must be able to stand, walk, and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
  • physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs

Job Duties

  • Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant area
  • maintains proper and adequate set-up of the server stations
  • assist the servers in maintaining clean available tables for arriving guests
  • assist servers with continual service details
  • maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant area
  • be the master of the restaurant, understanding the details of the operation
  • work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
