The Busser role at Caesars Entertainment, located in Pompano Beach, FL, is integral to maintaining the high standards of hospitality and customer service Caesars is known for. As a Busser, you are the backbone of the dining experience, ensuring that tables and service areas are clean, organized, and prepared for guests. This position requires high energy, attention to detail, and a friendly attitude to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. You will engage in various duties like clearing and resetting tables, assisting with drink orders, stocking stations, and supporting banquet functions. Busser responsibilities extend to interacting positively with guests and team members alike, providing prompt service and contributing to a seamless dining experience.

The ideal candidate will be physically capable of handling various manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and pushing heavy objects, as well as standing and walking for extended periods. Flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential to meet the dynamic needs of the business. Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in English verbal and written
  • Proficient with iOS devices
  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
  • Ability to safely work with cleaning chemicals and equipment
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for extended periods
  • Ability to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment

Job Duties

  • Deal with high-volume customer interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times
  • Take customers' drink orders, and serve and refill drinks promptly
  • Buss all tableware from dining room to service stations, and ensure all items are clean and presentable
  • Break down all bus pans in the service stations, and prepare the dirty dishware for pickup
  • Deliver dirty glassware to and from the kitchen for cleaning
  • Ensure that rolls are set on table when customers are seated, returning butter and creamers to the pantry, and clearing tables and stations
  • Answer questions about food items, making recommendations upon request
  • Remove customers' dirty dishes from tables during the course of their meal, as they make repeat trips to the buffet line and upon completion of their dining experience
  • Stock wait stations, bar, and storage areas
  • Bring ice as needed
  • Assist hosts with seating guests if necessary
  • Reset tables after they have been cleared
  • Roll silverware, set up food stations or dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties
  • Accurately and appropriately set up banquet functions
  • Clean up after banquet functions, including moving chairs, tearing down tables, and removing dirty dishes and linen
  • Have knowledge of customer alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations
  • Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same
  • Work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Build guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back
  • Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management
