Job Requirements
- High school education is required
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 5 hours
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Punctuality and strong work ethic
- Highly reliable, responsible, honest and team-focused
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and self-directed
- Adaptable and flexible with ability to prioritize and manage large sections
- Weekend availability
Job Qualifications
- High school education
- Previous experience in a Busser position is a plus but not required
- Hospitality or related degrees are a plus
- Ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Openness to being coached and mentored
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Ability to engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with guests
- Respond to questions and know where to find information if unknown
- Clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings including silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins
- Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to ensure minimum breakage
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas and common areas including tables, counters, equipment, restrooms, and floors at all times
- During any down time, proactively assist other team members or as requested by manager
- Notify management of any comments, suggestions or complaints from any guests
