Some of its widely recognized and celebrated hospitality brands include TAO, OMNIA, Marquee, LAVO, Beauty & Essex, Cathédrale, Little Sister, The Highlight Room, Sake No Hana, KOMA, Avenue, Fleur Room, JEWEL, among others. Tao Group Hospitality is part of Mohari Hospitality, an investment firm that focuses on luxury lifestyle and hospitality sectors, continually innovating and setting high standards for guest satisfaction and experience.
This particular role is for a part-time Busser at Tao Group Hospitality, offered at a competitive wage of $12 per hour. The Busser position is integral to the smooth operation of the dining service, working closely alongside servers to ensure guests receive superior service promptly and courteously. The Busser is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and stock levels in all areas of the restaurant including the dining room, storerooms, beverage stations, and food pick-up areas according to established standards.
A Busser at Tao Group Hospitality must exhibit professionalism, efficiency, and a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members alike. The role requires maintaining all uniform guidelines and delivering exceptional guest service at all times. The job entails a variety of critical duties including setting and resetting tables efficiently, serving beverages such as water, coffee, and soft drinks, coordinating with servers and management to optimize table turnover, and ensuring overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment.
Additional responsibilities include attending pre-shift briefings, maintaining knowledge of table and seating arrangements and capacities, supporting guest needs based on reservation preferences, and handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction. The role also involves physical tasks such as moving furniture, reporting breakages, replenishing stock throughout the shift, cleaning and polishing silverware and glasses, and managing sanitation processes in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Ideal candidates for the Busser position must have at least one year of prior experience in a similar role, preferably as a Busser or Food Runner, with a solid understanding of opening and closing duties, safety and sanitation guidelines, and drink recipes. The work environment is fast-paced and demanding, requiring the ability to handle physically strenuous activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working in noisy, crowded, and sometimes smoky conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
The Busser role offers an enriching opportunity to join a premier hospitality group that values teamwork, guest satisfaction, and professional growth. Part-time team members benefit from a comprehensive package that includes state applicable time off, pet insurance, a 401(k) retirement program with employer match, an employee assistance program, access to a savings marketplace, employee discounts, and much more.
Joining Tao Group Hospitality means becoming part of a dynamic, innovative, and widely respected company committed to delivering unforgettable hospitality experiences. The Busser position is ideal for individuals who are highly motivated, attentive to detail, and eager to contribute to a world-class dining environment.
