We are currently seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in delivering excellent service that meets and exceeds customer expectations. The Food and Beverage Server will be responsible for greeting customers upon entry, accurately taking and delivering orders, handling payment transactions, and ensuring the dining area remains clean and inviting throughout the shift. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to all food safety regulations. Candidates must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods and able to lift and carry trays up to 25 pounds. The ideal candidate will have previous serving experience and a commitment to completing our comprehensive training program. Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is necessary to accommodate our operational hours.

Job Requirements

Previous experience as a server preferred
must successfully complete restaurants training course
ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
ability to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately
ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices
ability to operate point-of-sale systems
previous experience as a server preferred
successful completion of restaurants training course

Job Duties

Greet incoming customers
answer phone calls and customer questions and requests
receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits
issue refunds, voids, or credits to customers with manager approval
count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
calculate total payments received during a time period and reconcile this with total sales
prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea, to patrons
correctly customize orders as requested
maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
complete general cleaning duties such as clean tables, chairs, and floors
remove dirty dishes, set tables, replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, condiments, and bread
empty trash cans
assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints
restock and roll silverware and assist with stocking stations
answer questions related to drinks, menu, bakery and catering
check with guests to make sure that they are enjoying their meals and be initiative-taking to correct any problem
take food and beverage orders and deliver them to the kitchen
deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers
ensure that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction
return incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen
collect plates and clear the table as customers finish their meals
perform other related duties as assigned
