Bon Appetit is currently hiring for a full-time Busser at its Bellevue, WA location, situated at 700 Bellevue Way. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous food service experience or those eager to enter the hospitality industry and willing to train. The position operates Monday through Friday with two shifts available: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM and 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM. The pay rate is fixed at $23.00 per hour, and employees benefit from perks such as a shoe stipend, free shift meals, and an internal employee referral bonus. As a Busser at Bon Appetit, the individual will play an essential role in maintaining the smooth operation of the dining environment by setting and clearing tables, stocking service stations, and assisting servers in providing timely service to guests. Responsibilities include quickly clearing dirty dishes and resetting tables, maintaining cleanliness and stock levels of serviceware such as silverware, linen, and condiments, and ensuring the dining area is inviting and comfortable by wiping down furniture and cleaning floors as necessary. Additional duties involve assisting in food and beverage service, transporting dirty tableware to the dishwashing area, and performing general cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Duties

  • Set and clear restaurant tables
  • stock all service stations
  • assist food servers with table service
  • quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting
  • maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods
  • wipe down booths and chairs
  • move tables and chairs
  • clean floors as necessary
  • serve guests beverages, breads and butter and replenish as necessary
  • assist servers with food and beverage service
  • transport dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area
  • perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products
  • fold napkins to maintain supply
  • perform assigned side work including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands
  • clean unexpected spills
  • handle special guest requests
  • greet and seat guests
  • perform other duties as assigned
