This company thrives on a culture that embraces passion, creativity, and a forward-thinking mindset. Lagunitas Brewing Company is not just about producing exceptional beers; it’s about fostering stories, music, and memorable experiences around the beloved IPA that has become synonymous with their brand. They believe in inclusivity and offer a welcoming atmosphere where everyone, including dogs, can feel at home. Their mantra, "Beer Speaks, People Mumble," captures the spirit of conviviality and laid-back enjoyment that the brand embodies.
Lagunitas Brewing Company is currently seeking dedicated candidates for the position of Busser/Food Runner for their Taproom. This is a seasonal, part-time role typically scheduled Friday through Sunday for 20-24 hours per week. The position focuses on ensuring that all areas in the Taproom maintain cleanliness and are properly stocked to provide an excellent customer experience. Employees will be vital in supporting the efficient delivery of food and beverage orders, assisting servers, and maintaining the high standard of service that defines the Lagunitas brand. The role is dynamic, involving various operational tasks including cleaning, restocking, and occasionally stepping into other frontline roles like hosting or bartending when needed. Compensation starts at $18.31 per hour, with pay periods every other Friday, making this an attractive role for individuals looking for flexible part-time work in a vibrant atmosphere.
The Busser/Food Runner at Lagunitas will enjoy generous employee benefits such as four free cases of Lagunitas beverages per month, 50% off food and merchandise, pet insurance coverage to keep beloved pets protected, and access to an employee assistance program offering free counseling consultations. These perks reflect the company's commitment to the wellbeing of its employees and their families. The company culture encourages teamwork, positivity, and a strong work ethic within a fast-paced environment where adaptability and guest satisfaction are paramount.
Ideal candidates will have prior bussing or food running experience, strong knowledge of restaurant operations, and excellent communication skills. They should be capable of multitasking efficiently and maintaining attention to detail in a busy setting. Candidates must obtain a Food Handler certificate upon hire and demonstrate willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and potential overtime. Physically, the role requires stamina for standing, carrying, and lifting up to 60 pounds, alongside working in variable environmental conditions such as noise and temperature fluctuations.
Lagunitas Brewing Company prides itself on its inclusive hiring practices, ensuring a welcoming environment for all, regardless of race, creed, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, or other characteristics. This Busser/Food Runner position is a key part of the front-of-house team, reporting directly to the FOH Manager and interacting with staff both front and back of house, as well as other departments. For those passionate about the hospitality industry and craft beer culture, this role offers an exciting and supportive workplace where everyone truly has a seat at the bar.
