At Cooper's Hawk, Bussers and Food Runners play an integral role in creating memorable guest moments by ensuring the restaurant remains clean, organized, and vibrant throughout each shift. This position is vital to the smooth flow of service, where every detail, from running food to resetting tables, contributes to an unparalleled hospitality experience. Teamwork, communication, and attention to every guest and dish are central to the role. Bussers and Food Runners are expected to arrive prepared to maintain a welcoming environment by following daily checklists and prepping their areas accordingly. They take responsibility for resetting tables and bar tops quickly, assisting with running food and clearing dishes, pre-bussing tables, and maintaining stocked and clean glassware, silverware, and dishware.

Effective communication is key, as they coordinate with Hosts, Servers, and Bartenders to keep the dining room moving smoothly and help the team stay stocked and ready. The role also emphasizes personal engagement, encouraging team members to greet guests with enthusiasm, assist with carryout orders, and create positive first and last impressions. Going beyond basic duties, Bussers and Food Runners help with restocking, light cleaning, and attending to small details that enhance the guest experience. The company values a positive attitude, a passion for people and food, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is necessary, with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Availability for weekends and holidays is also required.
