The role in focus is designed to offer servers and guests an impeccably clean and well-stocked dining environment. As a Dining Room Attendant at Sycuan, you will play an essential role in maintaining the quality and ambience of the restaurant areas, ensuring every guest's visit is pleasant and comfortable. This position demands attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness, organization, and guest interaction. Responsibilities include cleaning table surfaces, replenishing supplies such as utensils, plates, and cups, managing trash disposal, and resetting tables efficiently. Additionally, you'll provide friendly service by acknowledging guests warmly, taking and delivering beverage orders, and responding promptly to any requests.
Your work will also involve keeping the service stations well-stocked and orderly by organizing water, food supplies, condiments, and cleaning coffee and soda machines in adherence to established hygiene standards. By upholding these standards, you help foster a welcoming and hygienic environment that encourages repeat visits and positive guest experiences.
This hourly position requires employees who can sustain physical activity over long periods, demonstrating stamina and resilience by standing, walking, bending, and carrying moderately heavy loads as part of their daily duties. Job Duties
- Ensures safe and sanitary dining areas by cleaning table and chair surfaces, emptying ashtrays, replacing used tablecloths, plates, cups and utensils, sweeping floors, transporting bus carts to the dishwashing station, disposing of all trash, and resetting tables as needed
- Provides guests with service by acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the restaurant, taking beverage orders, delivering requested beverages, and responding to guest requests
- Ensures restaurant stations are stocked and clean by placing delivered water, food supplies, cups and condiments in the server stations in the kitchens, and cleaning coffee machines, soda machines, sinks, shelves and counters according to established procedures
- Promotes guest relations by responding to guest requests, offering appropriate up to date information regarding promotional contests and giveaways, providing requested assistance and product knowledge, and treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner
