Job Requirements

Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift
must have good sense of balance
able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, push and pull
able to frequently lift chairs and adjust tables
must lift trays weighing up to 50 pounds
position involves repetitive hand and wrist motion
high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency degree preferred
experience working in a high-volume restaurant setting is advantageous
good interpersonal and communication skills
ability to work well under pressure
pleasant and cooperative attitude
strong attention to hygiene and proper personal presentation
ability to listen attentively and interact verbally with guests and coworkers

Job Duties

Clears away dishes from guests
re-sets tabletops with place settings and wipes down chairs
inspects and cleans carpet and other flooring when debris or liquid is detected
responds to guests' questions and makes recommendations as appropriate
sets up and maintains workstations including setting up tables at beginning or end of shift
carries trays back to dishwasher, unloads and wipes trays clean
scrapes and stacks dishes and returns dirty dishes and silverware to dishwashing area
stocks stations with silverware, napkins etc.
checks restrooms for cleanliness
responds to guests' additional requests and assists servers as needed
inspects floor for debris, spills and sweeps or dries as necessary
performs other duties as assigned by management
