Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift
- must have good sense of balance
- able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, squat, push and pull
- able to frequently lift chairs and adjust tables
- must lift trays weighing up to 50 pounds
- position involves repetitive hand and wrist motion
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency degree preferred
- experience working in a high-volume restaurant setting is advantageous
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work well under pressure
- pleasant and cooperative attitude
- strong attention to hygiene and proper personal presentation
- ability to listen attentively and interact verbally with guests and coworkers
Job Duties
- Clears away dishes from guests
- re-sets tabletops with place settings and wipes down chairs
- inspects and cleans carpet and other flooring when debris or liquid is detected
- responds to guests' questions and makes recommendations as appropriate
- sets up and maintains workstations including setting up tables at beginning or end of shift
- carries trays back to dishwasher, unloads and wipes trays clean
- scrapes and stacks dishes and returns dirty dishes and silverware to dishwashing area
- stocks stations with silverware, napkins etc.
- checks restrooms for cleanliness
- responds to guests' additional requests and assists servers as needed
- inspects floor for debris, spills and sweeps or dries as necessary
- performs other duties as assigned by management
