The Busser role at XRG is an integral part of maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. This position involves much more than just clearing tables; it demands attention to detail, responsiveness, teamwork, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Bussers ensure that tables are cleaned and reset swiftly and correctly, helping to maximize table turnover and maintain the flow of service throughout the restaurant. They assist servers with guest needs, manage stock levels in their assigned areas, and handle side work duties that keep the dining environment pristine and welcoming.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and possess a solid understanding of full-service restaurant operations. Essential physical demands include being able to stand or walk for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- 18 plus years of age
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
- Minimum of one year related experience
- Proper lifting techniques

- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public

Job Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently before, during and after service periods to turn tables
- Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers and proper table set ups
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of their assigned areas and side stations
- Work as a team, assisting all guests’ and team members’ needs and inquiries
- Ensure that all necessary stock is being replenished during the shift
- Respond to guest concerns/complaints and correct errors or resolve complaints while maintaining a positive attitude escalating to management when necessary
- Clean and dry spills immediately upon occurrence
- never leaving spills unattended
