Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirements as dictated by local law to handle and clear containers holding alcoholic beverages
- Must possess or successfully obtain a valid Utah DABS Alcohol Server Certification (S.I.T. or equivalent approved state training) within 30 days of hiring
- Valid local Food Handler's Permit must be obtained within 30 days of employment
- Prior food and beverage experience in a hotel, upscale restaurant, or high-volume banquet operation is preferred but not required
- Flexible scheduling availability required, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays based on group bookings and historical property occupancy
- Ability to lift, carry, and balance professional food and beverage service trays up to 30 lbs
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or move banquet tables, chairs, and rolling equipment carts weighing up to 50 lbs with assistance

- Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to following property standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
Job Duties
- Assist servers actively by monitoring dining areas for empty plates, used silverware, and completed courses to execute continuous, unobtrusive pre-clearing
- Clear remaining tabletop items immediately upon guest departure, safely transporting dirty dishes, glassware, and flatware to the dishwashing area
- Sanitize table surfaces thoroughly according to health protocols and quickly reset stations to brand standards for the next seating
- Keep service stations fully stocked with polished silverware, clean glassware, fresh linens, ice, and necessary condiments throughout the shift
- Promptly clean up unexpected spills or broken items on the floor to maintain a safe, spotless environment for guests and colleagues
- Communicate efficiently with the service and host teams regarding table turnover status to minimize guest wait times
- Review operational directions to assist in the physical setup and teardown of event rooms, positioning tables, chairs, linens, and buffets efficiently
