The Busser role at The Brigantine is integral to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service expected in its restaurants. Primarily responsible for clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, the Busser ensures the dining area is prepared efficiently and hygienically for incoming guests. - Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time
- Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 50 lbs)

Job Qualifications

- Restaurant experience is a plus but not required
- A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
- Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells

Job Duties
- Cleaning and sweeping the dining areas of the restaurant
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting each table for the next guest
- Taking out the garbage
- Stocking stations with necessary supplies
- Cleaning the bathrooms
- Anticipate guests’ and coworkers’ needs and exceed guest service expectations
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Respond urgently and appropriately to guests’ and coworkers’ needs
- Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms
- Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems
- Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return
- Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift
