Established with a chef-curated menu that emphasizes made-to-order breakfast, brunch, and lunch items crafted from the freshest ingredients, First Watch has built a reputation for delivering elevated, flavorful dining experiences. The company embodies a 'Follow the Sun' culinary philosophy, rotating its menu multiple times per year to feature seasonal flavors and innovative dishes, including fan favorites like the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Quinoa Power Bowl, and signature Million Dollar Bacon. Recognized widely for excellence, First Watch holds numerous awards, such as "Best Breakfast" and "Best Brunch," and was voted #1 Best Breakfast by Newsweek's Readers’ Choice Awards for 2025. Moreover, it has been named the #1 Most Loved Workplace in America by the Best Practice Institute for multiple years, including 2024 and 2025, an honor highlighted in The Wall Street Journal.

First Watch’s core value is the 'YOU FIRST' philosophy, which prioritizes the well-being and happiness of its employees. The company is dedicated to fostering a supportive work environment, where employees are empowered to make decisions that enhance the customer dining experience. Notably, First Watch offers no night shifts ever, reflecting its commitment to work-life balance for staff. The culture emphasizes teamwork, respect, and recognition, with benefits and perks designed to support employees personally and professionally. These benefits include access to comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; telemedicine services; flexible spending accounts; 401(k) retirement plans; paid time off; tuition reimbursement; and various discounts and assistance programs.

The role of a First Watch Busser is integral to maintaining the quality and efficiency expected by their guests. Beyond table maintenance, Bussers communicate effectively with Hosts and Servers to signal when tables are available, contributing to the smooth flow of the restaurant. They also perform supplementary tasks such as light housekeeping, rolling silverware, and ensuring restroom cleanliness. This position requires individuals who thrive in team environments, possess strong communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. The role demands physical stamina, quick reflexes, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic setting.

At First Watch, the Busser role offers an opportunity to join a highly respected company with a culture rooted in employee empowerment and customer satisfaction. In addition to competitive pay, employees enjoy a 50% meal discount for themselves and their families at all company restaurants and access to robust employee assistance programs.
