The Busser role at Del's Hideout is a critical position responsible for maintaining the quality and flow of the dining experience. As a Busser, you will be tasked with ensuring that dining tables are properly set and reset, the dining area remains clean before, during, and after service, and service stations are well stocked and prepared. You will play an important role in supporting the wait staff by promptly delivering water and bread, responding politely and professionally to guest requests, and communicating effectively with servers. The role requires a quick response to guest needs and demands a high level of attention to detail, as you will be responsible for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware after each course, polishing silverware, and maintaining cleanliness in service areas. The Busser position also requires compliance with safety and sanitation standards as well as company policies. This position offers part-time work on AM or PM shifts, with the expectation of working flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings at an hourly pay rate of $17.75. Job Requirements
- At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Able to lift 30-50 lbs
- Able to stand, walk, lift, twist and bend for up to 8 hours a day
- Availability to work weekends, holidays and evenings
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Flexible availability
- Ability to work part-time AM or PM shifts

Job Duties
- Responsible for setting and resetting dining tables
- Responsible for overall cleanliness of the dining room before, during and after service
- Keep service stations stocked and prepared to ensure an efficient service
- Deliver water and bread in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to guest requests in a polite and professional fashion
- Promptly communicate with server of any other guests’ requests
- Remove dishes, glassware and silverware from tables after each course
- Carry dirty dishes from service station to dish room and return with clean stock
- Polish silverware
- Empty trash cans
- Maintain clean and orderly service areas and complete side work duties
- Comply with established safety and sanitation standards
- Adhere to company policies and standard procedures
