Bussing staff play a pivotal role in ensuring the dining area is clean, organized, and prepared to meet the restaurant's standard of excellence before, during, and after service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- good physical stamina and ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- strong communication skills
- ability to maintain personal hygiene and presentable appearance
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is an asset
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work well with others and independently
- ability to organize and multi-task
- knowledge of proper etiquette for table clearing is a plus
Job Duties
- Clean and clear the tables in the dining areas
- reset tables to restaurant standard
- carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
- scrape the dishes, stack the dishes in the dishwasher area
- clean counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas or other areas of restaurants
- clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash
- maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- able to interact with guests and staff in a friendly/fast manner
- treat guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction
- always strive to exceed our guests' expectations
- report to work in a neat and clean uniform
- well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential
- work as a team with all BRIT'S personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
- other duties as directed
