The role of a bussing staff at BRIT'S is an essential part of the restaurant's front-of-house team. This position is hourly paid with a competitive compensation rate of $14.25 per hour. Bussing staff play a pivotal role in ensuring the dining area is clean, organized, and prepared to meet the restaurant's standard of excellence before, during, and after service. Responsibilities focus on clearing and resetting tables, maintaining cleanliness around the restaurant, and supporting team members to enhance guest satisfaction. This role requires candidates who can work efficiently under pressure, communicate effectively with guests and staff, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and uniform presentation. Successful bussing staff must also demonstrate excellent multi-tasking abilities, a proactive attitude, and a keen understanding of proper etiquette when clearing tables. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
good physical stamina and ability to stand or walk for extended periods
strong communication skills
ability to maintain personal hygiene and presentable appearance
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
willingness to work as part of a team and follow instructions

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is an asset
excellent communication skills
ability to work well with others and independently
ability to organize and multi-task
knowledge of proper etiquette for table clearing is a plus

Job Duties

Clean and clear the tables in the dining areas
reset tables to restaurant standard
carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
scrape the dishes, stack the dishes in the dishwasher area
clean counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas or other areas of restaurants
clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash
maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
able to interact with guests and staff in a friendly/fast manner
treat guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction
always strive to exceed our guests' expectations
report to work in a neat and clean uniform
well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential
work as a team with all BRIT'S personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
other duties as directed
