We are currently seeking dedicated and hardworking Bussers to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing first-class service and incredible hospitality. This part-time, hourly, non-exempt position reports directly to the General Manager and offers an hourly wage of $18.70. Given the dynamic nature of the restaurant business, schedules vary week to week with weekend availability being a must. This role provides a unique opportunity for individuals who are proactive, flexible, and eager to support their team in delivering a superior guest experience.
As a Busser at The Pacific Catch, you will be an integral part of the front-of-house team, responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of dining areas to create a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve engaging with guests courteously, maintaining dining room order, and supporting servers by resetting tables and managing equipment. This position requires not only physical stamina for standing and moving for extended periods but also a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and growth.

Job Requirements
- High school education
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Weekend availability is a must

Job Qualifications
- High school education is required
- Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
- 1+ year previous experience in a Busser position is ideal but not required
- Punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
- Highly reliable, responsible, honest and focused on supporting the team
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and self-directed
- Adaptable and flexible with the ability to prioritize and manage a large section
- Open to constructive feedback and willing to be coached and mentored
- Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple restaurant positions
Job Duties
- Engage in personable, prompt, and polite interactions with guests
- Respond to questions and know where to find information if unknown
- Clear, clean, set and re-set tables with complete place settings including silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins
- Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to ensure minimum breakage
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and common areas including tables, counters, equipment, restrooms, and floors at all times
- Proactively assist other team members or perform other tasks as requested by management during any downtime
- Notify management of any comments, suggestions, or complaints from guests
