The Busser position plays a crucial role in maintaining the dining area's cleanliness and organization to ensure every guest enjoys a pleasant and efficient experience. Responsibilities include promptly clearing and resetting tables to prepare for incoming diners, assisting servers by refilling beverages and delivering small items as needed, and supporting overall service flow during busy periods. The Busser works closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to promote smooth operations and timely service.

This role is pivotal in creating a hospitable environment by keeping the dining space tidy, well-stocked, and ready for new guests. Job Duties

  • Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished dining
  • Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments according to restaurant standards
  • Assist servers by refilling water glasses, delivering bread or other items, and responding to guest requests as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow and communicate any issues or special guest needs to management
