First Watch is a leading daytime dining restaurant concept that specializes in serving made-to-order breakfast, brunch, and lunch featuring the freshest and highest-quality ingredients. The company is widely recognized for its chef-curated menu that rotates several times a year to highlight seasonal, fresh flavors and elevated takes on classic favorites. First Watch is committed to offering an exceptional dining experience focusing on culinary excellence and outstanding customer service. With over 630 restaurant locations in 32 states, First Watch has earned numerous accolades, including being named #1 Best Breakfast by Newsweek's Readers' Choice Awards in 2025 and recognized as the #1 Most Loved Workplace in America in both 2024 and 2025 by the Best Practice Institute. This demonstrates their dedication not only to great food but also to a strong, positive workplace culture.

First Watch operates under its unique "YOU FIRST" philosophy, which prioritizes the happiness and well-being of its employees. With a strong emphasis on fostering a supportive, empowering work environment, the company ensures no night shifts and encourages team members to play an active role in making decisions that enhance the customer experience. This culture of respect and care is one of the key differentiators of the brand, making it a sought-after employer in the restaurant industry.

The Busser role at First Watch is an important position within the restaurant team, designed to maintain an efficient, clean, and welcoming dining atmosphere. The Busser is equipped with a spray bottle, a sturdy tray, and a clean cloth towel, and must perform quick, magician-like moves to clear and reset tables within 3 minutes. They communicate actively and discreetly with hosts and servers to ensure tables are ready for new guests, thus facilitating smooth turnover and excellent service flow. Bussers play a vital role in kitchen and dining room coordination, supporting team members with light housekeeping tasks, rolling silverware, and maintaining restroom cleanliness. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who value teamwork and communication in a fast-paced environment and want to contribute directly to an exceptional guest experience.

First Watch values its employees and provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, access to medical and behavioral telemedicine, flexible spending accounts for health and dependent care, a robust 401(k) retirement savings program, and generous meal discounts. Additional perks extend to tuition reimbursement, employee assistance programs, and unique offerings such as premium access to the Calm App, supplemental insurance options, and discounts on childcare services. These benefits reflect the company's commitment to supporting employees both professionally and personally.

The Busser position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old and comfortable working in a dynamic, team-oriented setting. The role is ideal for individuals who thrive on providing fast-paced, efficient service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. As part of the First Watch team, Bussers contribute to a vibrant and successful restaurant environment where every detail matters for crafting memorable dining experiences.
