We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate Bussers to join our team. As a Busser at The Roof Restaurant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our dining services by ensuring that tables are promptly cleared and reset to our exacting standards. This position offers part-time employment with 20 to 30 hours per week, typically 3 to 5 shifts, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work in a vibrant, fast-paced environment that values collaboration and high-quality service.
The role of a Busser is crucial in supporting our servers and enhancing our guests’ dining experience. You will engage in tasks such as clearing dishes and glassware efficiently, resetting tables with proper linens, silverware, and glassware, and assisting with guest support as needed. Our Bussers also contribute to the upkeep of dining areas and side stations, helping to polish silverware, restock supplies, and assist during busy service periods or private events. Job Requirements
- may be required to work outside of regular business hours including weekends, early mornings, and holidays to accommodate business needs
- standing and walking for extended periods of time
- ability to repetitively bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Job Duties
- clear tables promptly and efficiently by removing dishes, glassware, and utensils
- reset tables to restaurant standards including proper placement of linens, silverware, and glassware
- assist servers by refilling water glasses and providing guest support when needed
- maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, side stations, and service areas
- assist with polishing silverware, glassware, and restocking supplies
- support servers and runners during high-volume service periods
- assist with private events, large parties, and busy service shifts
- contribute to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and guest-focused service
- perform additional duties as assigned
