Job Requirements

  • Reliable availability for nights, weekends, and holidays typical of the restaurant schedule
  • ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 30-40 lbs for sustained periods
  • strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • clear communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff
  • legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in restaurants, hospitality, or customer service roles
  • basic food safety knowledge or ServSafe/BASIC food handling certification
  • bilingual skills (Spanish/English) to better assist a diverse guest base
  • interest in pursuing a career in hospitality or front-of-house leadership
  • clear communication skills
  • ability to work cooperatively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff
  • strong work ethic and positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain smooth dining room flow
  • assist servers by replenishing water, refilling condiments, and delivering bread or small items as needed
  • carry dirty dishes to the dish area and help maintain an organized bussing station
  • keep service stations, floors, and restrooms clean and presentable throughout the shift
  • stock and rotate service items (silverware, napkins, to-go containers) to ensure readiness for peak periods
  • support team members during busy periods (food runs, guest seating assistance, queue management)
  • follow sanitation and safety procedures, including proper handling of glassware and waste disposal
