Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Busser to join our front-of-house team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation of our dining areas by ensuring tables are cleared and reset swiftly, supporting servers, and upholding cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant. As a Busser, you will be an essential part of our guest experience, contributing to the overall efficiency and welcoming atmosphere our patrons expect. Job Requirements

  • Reliable availability for nights, weekends, and holidays typical of the restaurant schedule
  • ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 30-40 lbs for sustained periods
  • strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • clear communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff
  • legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in restaurants, hospitality, or customer service roles
  • basic food safety knowledge or ServSafe/BASIC food handling certification
  • bilingual skills (Spanish/English) to better assist a diverse guest base
  • interest in pursuing a career in hospitality or front-of-house leadership
  • clear communication skills
  • ability to work cooperatively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff

Job Duties

  • Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain smooth dining room flow
  • assist servers by replenishing water, refilling condiments, and delivering bread or small items as needed
  • carry dirty dishes to the dish area and help maintain an organized bussing station
  • keep service stations, floors, and restrooms clean and presentable throughout the shift
  • stock and rotate service items (silverware, napkins, to-go containers) to ensure readiness for peak periods
  • support team members during busy periods (food runs, guest seating assistance, queue management)
  • follow sanitation and safety procedures, including proper handling of glassware and waste disposal
