Job Requirements
- Must be able to remain stationary for long periods
- must be able to bend and stoop occasionally
- must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to five hours
- must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
- must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively
- must wear slip-resistant shoes at all times
Job Qualifications
- Entry-level position
- friendly, outgoing, courteous, service-oriented personality
- high school degree preferred but not required
- ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house including all tables, chairs, floors, walls, windows, and restrooms
- Assist in restocking the dining room with silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and maintain adequate supplies in the work stations when the dining room is opened
- Prepare beverages required for service including coffee and iced tea
- Communicate with host/hostess and servers to maintain service efficiency
- Assist servers in serving tables during rush periods
- Remove dirty dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave
- Return dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware to dishwashing area, sorting items for proper disposition
- Perform any restaurant function as needed
