The Bussser position at Morrison Healthcare is a vital role focused on ensuring a clean, efficient, and welcoming dining environment for guests and staff alike. This full-time role, scheduled primarily from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with rotating weekends, involves a variety of important duties such as setting and clearing tables, stocking service stations, and assisting servers to deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously. The bussser supports the overall dining experience by maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the dining area, including wiping down booths and chairs, moving furniture as needed, and managing all necessary equipment and supplies. In addition to standard bussing duties, the role involves some food service responsibilities such as serving beverages, bread, and butter to guests and assisting with special guest requests. Bussers are also tasked with transporting dirty tableware to the dishwashing area and performing general cleaning duties using standard products as assigned. Flexibility in tasks—as well as a proactive approach to replenishing supplies like napkins, condiments, and side stands—is critical to maintaining smooth operations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous dishwashing or food service experience preferred
- ability to work full-time including early mornings and rotating weekends
- capability to perform physical labor required in the role
- availability to begin employment promptly
- ability to operate cleaning equipment safely

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Quickly clears dirty table settings and prepares table for resetting
- promptly and consistently resets all serviceware as prescribed
- maintains stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment, including silverware, linen and condiments
- wipes down booths and chairs, moves tables and chairs, and cleans floors as necessary
- serves guests beverages, breads and butter and replenishes as necessary
- assists servers with food and beverage service
- transports all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area
- performs any general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor
- folds napkins throughout the day to maintain an adequate supply
- performs all assigned side work, including replenishing condiments and restocking side stands
- perform other duties as assigned, such as cleaning unexpected spills, handling special guest requests, and greeting and seating guests
