Job Description

The Post is a vibrant and community-centered restaurant located in Boulder, Colorado, known for its love of fried chicken and a curated selection of great beers. It serves as a gathering place where friends and family come together to enjoy excellent food, refreshing drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. The Post prides itself on delivering memorable experiences by fostering connection, laughter, and indulgence in a friendly environment. The restaurant is part of the Big Red F collective, a group of locally owned and fiercely independent restaurants and bars deeply rooted in Boulder’s hospitality scene. With a mission focused on serving delicious and memorable hospitality, The Post emphasizes the happiness of its guests, the success of its team members, and strong ties to the broader community. This collective is dedicated to creating outstanding memories and experiences around the dining and drinking culture, maintaining a legacy of authentic service that began back in 1994.

The Post is currently seeking talented and energetic Support Staff members to join their team, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. The roles come with a very competitive starting pay averaging $22 per hour, with the potential to earn even more based on performance and experience. Candidates with hospitality or restaurant experience are highly valued, and a passion for beer—often humorously referred to as "beer nerdom"—is considered a plus for applicants. The position involves dynamic and physically engaging tasks such as running food, clearing tables, filling waters, greeting guests, and performing multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. The job requires good humor and the ability to interact warmly with guests, reflecting the restaurant’s fun and lively work culture.

The Post offers flexibility in scheduling, especially valuing night and weekend availability. Employees also enjoy perks such as Big Red F dining discounts, paid sick time, and access to medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time team members after six months of employment. The restaurant provides training and development opportunities including Responsible Alcohol Service Certification, which is essential for handling guest safety and alcohol regulations. Beyond tangible benefits, working at The Post means being part of a supportive and inclusive family where diversity is accepted, and individuality is respected. The company values kindness, humanity, and professionalism above all else.

For those who thrive in a lively restaurant environment and want to contribute to a team that hustles hard while keeping the experience fun and memorable, The Post’s Support Staff position presents a rewarding career opportunity. The environment allows you to grow professionally, connect with a passionate team, and be part of a restaurant deeply entrenched in community and hospitality excellence. If you’re ready to bring energy, enthusiasm, and excellent service skills to a place that values its people above everything, The Post invites your application and offers a chance to join a team dedicated to hospitality as a way of life.
