The Busser role at Avvio is an essential part of the dining experience. As a Busser, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the dining area to ensure guests have a pleasant and seamless visit. Your key duties will include clearing and resetting tables, restocking plates and glassware, assisting servers as needed, and other tasks that support the front-of-house team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where a positive attitude and dedication to customer service are highly valued. Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
- Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships
Job Qualifications
- Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
- Sundays are required
- Prior experience a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Monitors dining room tables to ensure they meet or exceed standards
- Prepares tables for each party of guests by removing dirty dishes and linens, sweeping the floor and wiping seats around the table, and resetting the table
- Assists servers in pre-bussing tables as needed
- Transports clean dishware from the dish area to ensure adequate supplies remain on hand during shift
- Fills ice bins with ice and empties trash as needed
