We pride ourselves on fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where professionalism, teamwork, and a guest-focused mindset are core values. Our commitment to excellence has positioned us as one of the most respected names in the hospitality industry.

We operate in an iconic venue, the historic Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. This unique location is home to upscale dining and sophisticated event spaces, making it one of Utah's premier hospitality destinations. The Roof Restaurant, situated within this beautiful building, offers guests breathtaking views of the Salt Lake Valley paired with memorable dining experiences that combine exceptional food and outstanding service.

Compensation begins at $7.00 per hour plus tips, with top performers earning between $18 and $25 per hour, depending on shift availability, guest volumes, and individual performance. This opportunity is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment and are passionate about contributing to a team recognized for its high standards and professionalism.

The role of the Busser is critical to ensuring that dining areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming for every guest. Your responsibilities will include efficiently clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers with refills and guest needs, maintaining cleanliness of dining and service areas, and supporting the team during busy service periods and special events. You will play an essential part in upholding the restaurant's reputation by ensuring every detail meets the highest standards, from the placement of silverware and linens to timely assistances that enhance the overall guest experience.

Working at The Roof Restaurant offers you the chance to be part of a prestigious hospitality team where collaboration with experienced professionals can help you grow your skills and advance within the organization. The culture here is one of mutual respect, professionalism, and dedication to excellence, creating an environment where you can be proud of your work and motivated to deliver your best performance every day.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute during private events, large parties, and high-volume shifts, broadening your experience and exposure to different aspects of restaurant operations. Beyond the immediate duties, the position offers pathways for career growth as you demonstrate your capabilities and commitment to the team and organization.
